DESCRIPTION:
A security issue has been reported in IBM Tivoli Event Pump, which
can be exploited by malicious, local users to disclose potentially
sensitive information.
The security issue is caused due to user credentials being stored in
plain text in an AOPSCLOG data set and can be exploited to disclose
the stored credentials.
Successful exploitation requires that "VALIDATE_SOAP_USERS" and
"LOG_REQUESTS" are set to "YES".
The vulnerability is reported in version 4.2.2. Prior versions may
also be affected.
