DESCRIPTION:
Gjoko Krstic has reported a security issue in Zend Optimizer, which
can be exploited by malicious, local users to perform certain actions
with escalated privileges.
The security issue is caused due to the application setting insecure
file system permissions on ZendExtensionManager.dll and
ZendOptimizer.dll, which can be exploited to overwrite the files and
gain escalated privileges.
The security issue is reported in versions 3.3.3 and prior running on
Windows.
SOLUTION:
The vendor has released an updated version 3.3.3.
