DESCRIPTION:
Vulnerability Lab has reported two vulnerabilities in Dolphin, which
can be exploited by malicious users to conduct script insertion
attacks.
1) Input passed via the "dbTitle" parameter when creating a new photo
album is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be
exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be
executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site
when the malicious data is being viewed.
2) Input passed via the "bx_map_curr_loc" parameter when registering
a user is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be
exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be
executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site
when the malicious data is being viewed.
The vulnerabilities are reported in version 7.0.9. Prior versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Fixed in the SVN repository.
