DESCRIPTION:
SEC Consult has reported a vulnerability in dotDefender, which can be
exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a format string error in the
"<%IP%>" template tag error pages when parsing the "Host" HTTP header
and can be exploited via a specially crafted header.
Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code but
requires that the "<%IP%>" template tag is enabled.
The vulnerability is reported in version 4.26 for Linux/Apache. Other
versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Reportedly fixed in version 5.00.
