DESCRIPTION:
Sun Microsystems has acknowledged a vulnerability in Solaris, which
can be exploited by malicious people to cause files to be extracted
to an arbitrary directory on a user's system.

A race condition when setting file permissions has also been
acknowledged.

SOLUTION:
The vendor recommends setting the sticky bit on shared directories
and not using the "-N" or "--name" flags when decompressing files.

A final resolution is reportedly pending completion.
