DESCRIPTION:
KF has reported a vulnerability in Plantronics M2500 Bluetooth
Headset, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose
sensitive information and manipulate certain data.
The problem is that it is possible to pair the device even when it is
not in pairing mode via a RFCOMM connection. This can be exploited to
gain control of the headset (e.g. monitor the microphone and inject
audio into the ear piece) using the "Car Whisperer" utility through a
wireless Bluetooth connection.
SOLUTION:
Use another product.
