TITLE:
BaalASP Smart Form Portal Software Multiple Vulnerabilities

SECUNIA ADVISORY ID:
SA22943

VERIFY ADVISORY:
https://secunia.com/advisories/22943/

CRITICAL:
Moderately critical

IMPACT:
Cross Site Scripting, Manipulation of data

WHERE:
>From remote

SOFTWARE:
BaalASP Smart Form Portal Software 2.x
https://secunia.com/product/12656/

DESCRIPTION:
Laurent Gaffié and Benjamin Mossé have reported some vulnerabilities
in BaalASP Smart Form Portal Software, which can be exploited by
malicious people to conduct SQL injection and script insertion
attacks.

1) Input passed to the "password" parameter in adminlogin.asp, to the
"name" and "password" parameters in userlogin.asp, and to the "search"
parameter in search.asp is not properly sanitised before being used in
a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by
injecting arbitrary SQL code.

2) Input passed to the "title", "name", "groupname" and "detail"
parameter in addpost1.asp is not properly sanitised before being
used. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code
in a user's browser session in context of an affected website when
malicious data is viewed.

SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
