https://secunia.com/product/15757/
DESCRIPTION:
Adam Baldwin has reported a vulnerability and a security issue in
RemoteDocs R-Viewer, which potentially can be exploited by malicious,
local users to disclose sensitive information and by malicious people
to compromise a vulnerable system.
1) The problem is that the first file within an RDZ file gets
executed based on its file extension. This can be exploited to
execute arbitrary code via a specially crafted RDZ file.
2) Unencrypted copies of previously opened documents are stored in
the default %ProgramFiles%\RemoteDocs\Viewer\tmp\ directory and are
reportedly not removed regularly. This can be exploited to e.g.
disclose potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability and security issue are reported in version
1.6.2836. Other versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 1.6.3768.
