DESCRIPTION:
strawdog has discovered a vulnerability in Exodus, which can be
exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to the application trusting arguments
received via "im://" URIs. This can be exploited to overwrite
arbitrary files on the system by tricking a user into following a
specially crafted "im://" URI.
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 0.10 using Internet
Explorer 7. Other versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Do not browse untrusted websites or follow untrusted links.
