DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Hitachi JP1/Integrated
Management, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct
script insertion attacks.
Input passed via unspecified parameters in JP1/Integrated Management
- Service Support is not properly sanitised before being used. This
can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which will
be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site
when the malicious data is viewed.
The vulnerability is reported in the following versions of
JP1/Integrated Management - Service Support for Windows:
* 08-10 to 08-10-05
* 08-11 to 08-11-03
* 08-50 to 08-50-03
SOLUTION:
Fixed in version 08-10-06, 08-11-04, 08-50-04, and 08-51 (please
contact the Hitachi support for more information).
