Family Connections Multiple SQL Injection Vulnerabilities

DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in Family Connections,
which can be exploited by malicious users and people to conduct SQL
injection attacks.

1) Input passed to the "letter" parameter in addressbook.php is not
properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be
exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

2) Input passed to the "id" parameter in recipes.php (when "category"
is set to a valid category ID) is not properly sanitised before being
used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries
by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

3) Input passed to the "poll_id" parameter in home.php is not
properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be
exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

4) Input passed to the "year" parameter in register.php is not
properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be
exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

5) Input passed to the "email" parameter in lostpw.php is not
properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be
exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.8.1. Other versions
may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 1.8.2.
