DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in Kingsoft Internet
Security, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS
(Denial of Service).
1) An error when processing certain ARJ archives can be exploited to
cause a high CPU load.
1) A division by zero when processing certain CAB archives can be
exploited to crash the application.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in Kingsoft Antivirus version
2009.12.04.18 (included in Kingsoft Internet Security 9) and are
reported in 2009.09.29.11. Other versions may also be vulnerable.
SOLUTION:
Do not scan untrusted ARJ or CAB archives.
