InterSystems Caché and Ensemble CSP Gateway Buffer Overflow

DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in InterSystems Caché and Ensemble,
which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable
system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error within the CSP
Gateway when processing certain HTTP requests. This can be exploited
to cause a buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code via specially
crafted HTTP requests.
The vulnerability is reported in versions 2009.1.0.*, 2009.1.1.* and
2009.1.2.* for Windows 2000 or XP.
SOLUTION:
Download the patch and replace the vulnerable DLL files. Reportedly,
this will also be fixed in the upcoming 2009.1.3 Maintenance
Release.
