DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in JBoss AS, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting
attacks.
Input passed to the "monitorName", "objectName", "attribute", and
"period" parameters in createSnapshot.jsp and to the "monitorName",
"objectName", "attribute", "threshold", "period", and "enabled"
parameters in createThresholdMonitor.jsp is not properly sanitised
before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute
arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context
of an affected site.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 5.1.0GA and 4.2.2GA.
Other versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
