TITLE:
CA eHealth Performance Manager Cross-Site Scripting Weakness

SECUNIA ADVISORY ID:

VERIFY ADVISORY:
https://secunia.com/advisories/38694/

DESCRIPTION:
A weakness has been reported in CA eHealth Performance Manager, which
can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting
attacks.

Certain unspecified input passed to the web interface is not properly
sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to
execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in
context of an affected site.

Successful exploitation requires that the "Scan user input for
potentially malicious HTML content" configuration setting is
disabled.

The weakness is reported in versions 6.0.x, 6.1.x, and 6.2.x.

SOLUTION:
Enable "Scan user input for potentially malicious HTML content".
Please see the vendor's advisory for more information.
