https://secunia.com/advisories/38859/
DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in eGroupWare, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks
and compromise a vulnerable system
1) Input passed to the "lang" parameter in login.php is not properly
sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to
execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in
context of an affected site.
2) Input passed to the "spellchecker_lang" parameter in
phpgwapi/js/fckeditor/editor/dialog/fck_spellerpages/spellerpages/server-scripts/spellchecker.php
is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to
execute arbitrary shell commands.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.6.002. Prior versions
may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 1.6.003.
