DESCRIPTION:
A security issue has been reported in the Front End User Registration
extension for TYPO3, which can be exploited by malicious people to
bypass certain security restrictions.

The security issue is caused due to the improper handling of
automatically generated passwords. This can be exploited to bypass
the authentication but requires a user record to be created or
updated with a blank password.

The security issue is reported in version 2.5.25.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 2.5.26 or later.
