DESCRIPTION:
High-Tech Bridge SA has discovered a vulnerability in Pimcore, which
can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site request
forgery attacks.
The application allows users to perform certain actions via HTTP
requests without performing any validity checks to verify the
requests. This can be exploited to e.g. edit page content or assign a
user administrative privileges by tricking an administrative user into
visiting a malicious web site.
NOTE: This can further be exploited to conduct script insertion
attacks.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.1.1. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Do not follow untrusted links or visit untrusted web sites while
being logged-in to the administrative interface of the application.
