DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in NetBSD, which can be exploited
by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused to an error in the "udp6_output()"
function in sys/netinet6/udp6_output.c when processing UDP6 datagram
packets and can be exploited to dereference an uninitialized pointer
causing the kernel to crash.

SOLUTION:
Fixed in the CVS repository (please see the vendor advisory for
details).
